By choosing the subject “ASMAOLHOSNA”, the First Biennial Iran Poster Typography considers the place of letter & words and their composing in the area of Islamic Art & culture, not only for developing Typography and calligraphy as signs of traditional culture but also educating and edifying Muslim artists in order to emphasize on the Poster Typography Art. So that they can endeavor and make progress in creating modern and new forms and figures in this field.
Composing letters and words has special value in visual arts and is highly respected in Islamic Arts. In its traditional aspect, it is probably the most distinguishable sight of Islamic civilization. Writing letters and calligraphy in various manners, traditionally or recent, could be the remainders of the Divinity’s creation art, to the people who have the ability to understand The Almighty in different ways.
